Bio

Kressler is a Kitchener, ON native and joined the Men’s Baseball Coaching staff in 2024 while participating in the Coaches Association of Ontario Coach 2 Coach Mentorship Program.

She got her start at St. Mary's High School (Kitchener) where she earned a Softball scholarship to NCAA Division II Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) as a pitcher/outfielder.  Over four seasons Kressler batted a career .322 in 163 GP with 12 HR and 106 RBI.  As a pitcher in her rookie year (2018) for the Warriors, she posted a 3.10 ERA over 69.2 IP including five complete game performances on her way to being voted GLIAC Freshman of the Year.  In 2019, she was named All-Midwest Region Second Team as an outfielder before being selected to the All-GLIAC Second Team.  In 2020, she won the GLIAC Commissioner's Award recipient for outstanding athletic and academic achievement. 

She graduated from Wayne State with a Kinesiology Degree while receiving several academic awards including school Honour Roll, three GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team recognitions and two NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete awards. 

After Wayne State, Kressler came to St. Clair College helping lead the Saints to double gold with OCAA Provincial and CCSA National titles in 2022 and 2023 which included an undefeated 34-0 team record in her first season.  Along her path she was individually recognized as a 2-time OCAA First-Team League All-Star, 2-time OCAA Championship MVP, 2-time CCSA Championship MVP, 2-time OCAA All-Academic and 2-time OCAA Academic and Athletic Excellence recipient.  In 2022, she was named OCAA Pitcher of the Year, OCAA Player of the Year and the CCSA Championship Top Pitcher as the Saints MVP while setting the OCAA record for runs scored in a season (45) which still stands to date.  In 2023, Kressler was the CCSA Championship All-Star (Utility) as the Saints Top Pitcher on her way to graduating from St. Clair’s Fitness and Health Promotion program. 

To cap her career, she was named the 2023-24 St. Clair College Al Hoffman Outstanding Achievement Athlete of the Year Award before becoming St. Clair’s only OCAA Athlete of the Year award winner across all sports.

Kressler is the St. Clair program record holder for runs scored in the regular season (45) and in an overall season with 61.  She also maintains tied for the St. Clair overall season record in hits with 65 in the 2022 campaign.  Over two seasons and 68 games for the Saints, Kressler batted .496 (St. Clair 2nd All-time), scored 116 Runs (St. Clair 5th All-time), recorded 121 Hits (St. Clair T-8th All-time), bashed 16 Home Runs (St. Clair 2nd All-time) and notched 130 RBI (St. Clair 2nd All-time).  In the pitching circle she held a 0.91 ERA in 123.0 IP while amassing a 20-1 record that included 14 complete game performances to go with 170 strikeouts and a save.
