St. Clair Men's Basketball Grab Local Standout

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Men's Basketball team is happy to announce the commitment of Eldin Hassan (Windsor, ON/Kennedy) and he will suit up for the Saints starting in the 2026-27 season.

Hassan is a 6'2" guard who comes from the very successful Kennedy Collegiate program where he contributed to their OFSAA 'AA' title in early March after winning the city and SWOSSAA championships while being named a WECSSAA Second-Team All-Star selection.  Hassan also helped Kennedy to WECSSAA and SWOSSAA banners in 2024. 

Saints Co-Head Coach Matt Sykes complimented Hassan by stating, "Eldin has a great attitude and work ethic which will help him grow throughout his time here.  His ability to catch and shoot along with attacking his defenders on closeouts always makes him a threat."

Sykes added, "Eldin is a welcomed addition to Saints Nation, and we are very excited to have him here for the foreseeable future.  Coming from Kennedy, he will be able to fit into the program right away and provide a positive demeanor around the team."

Hassan will begin his academic studies in St. Clair's Business Administration-Accounting program this fall.
