St. Clair Ready to Host OCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four

Windsor, ON – St. Clair College will play host to the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Men's Basketball Provincial Championship Tournament March 6-7 at the SportsPlex.  The Saints last hosted this championship in 2023 which was an 8-team format with St. Clair coming away with the first outright gold medal in school history. 

The event opens on Friday with Humber Polytechnic (Etobicoke) taking on Loyalist College (Belleville) at 5:00pm in the first semi-final game.  St. Clair will face Mohawk College (Hamilton) immediately after at 7:30pm in the other semi-final.  Medal games will be played Saturday with the Bronze contest at 2:30pm followed by the Gold/Silver matchup at 5:00pm.  The OCAA qualifies its top two finishers for the CCAA National Championship tournament which will be played in Nanaimo, BC and hosted by Vancouver Island University March 18-21. 

General Admission for non-St. Clair student Adults is $10.00 for a Day Pass with 12-under free.  All full-time St. Clair College students will enjoy free admission for all games. 

For Friday's Saints game all full-time St. Clair College students in attendance are eligible to enter a Gift Card Draw for Boston Pizza, South Windsor Penalty Box, Tim Hortons and Subway for seven winners.  The first ten St. Clair students will receive a Free Cookie.  Free Popcorn and Noisemakers are available as well as Face Paint and a Fan Zone.  Custom Tournament Shirts Giveaway will go to the first 40 people.

Game #1: Loyalist (13-7) vs. Humber (17-3) – 5:00pm
Game #2: Mohawk (15-5) vs. St. Clair (17-3) – 7:30pm

Saturday, March 7^th

Bronze Medal Game
Game #3: Loser Game #1 vs. Loser Game #2 – 2:30pm
Winning team presented OCAA Bronze Medal at conclusion of game

Gold Medal Game
Game #4: Winner Game #1 vs. Winner Game #2 - 5:00pm
OCAA Gold and Silver Medals presented at conclusion of game
