Bio

Gianni Ferri was appointed Head Coach of the St. Clair College Men’s Soccer program on February 2025, after serving as an Assistant Coach during the 2024–25 season.

A native of Windsor, Ontario, Ferri developed his soccer career locally before moving to Michigan to compete with Vardar FC. His success at the club level earned him multiple call-ups to the Canadian Youth Men’s National Team while he also captained Team Ontario. Ferri later joined Toronto FC for his senior year of high school.

Ferri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Michigan State University, where he played on scholarship for all four seasons from 2019 to 2022.

Following six years of seasonal volunteer coaching, Ferri was named Head Coach of the Windsor TFC U16 Boys team in 2023. In that role, he led the team to a 24–3–1 record and its first ever WRSL championship. He has also spent time in Italy further developing his coaching philosophy through advanced study of the game.

In his first season as Head Coach of the Saints, Ferri guided the program to a third-place finish in the OCAA West Division with 17 points—an improvement of 10 points from the previous season’s 7. The Saints earned their first playoff victory with a win over Cambrian College before falling to Seneca College in the quarterfinals.
