Women's Basketball Sign Local Star for 2025

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Women's Basketball program has secured one of the top local players and are extremely happy to announce the recent signing of Mya Tate (Windsor, ON) in preparation for the 2025-26 campaign. 

Tate is a 5'5" guard and was voted WECSSAA's top player while competing for St. Joseph's as an All-City performer to go with a pair of school MVP awards.  She was an honour roll student in addition to playing at the club level locally for the Windsor Valiants, Windsor United, Baron United, Tecumseh Saints and JUEL.    

Academically Tate will be starting St. Clair's Business Administration-Accounting program this fall. 

St. Clair Head Coach Andy Kiss spoke highly about the signing praising, "Mya is a fabulous pick-up for our program as we welcome her to Saints Nation.  She has the skill set to play any of the guard positions and she is gifted offensively with the ability to score at all three levels.  Mya is also a high-achieving young lady with strong character, and we are excited to see what she will do for us."
