Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Women's Basketball team (6-10, West 6th Place) will travel to Belleville this weekend to face Loyalist College on Sunday who was the East Division's 3rd Place finisher with a 10-4 record. Loyalist is ranked 6th in the province while the Saints hold the #9 spot in the most recent poll.
3rd year transfer guard Kaelyn Batten (Windsor, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova) led St. Clair in scoring this season and finished 6th in the province with a 15.1ppg average including a 73.5% free throw success rate which ranks 5th in the OCAA while adding 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. 4th year guard Shae-Lyn Murphy (Windsor, ON/Holy Names tops the Saints in rebounding (6.7) and assists (4.3) per game while scoring 11.0 per contest.
The playoff matchup will tip at 1:00pm on Sunday at Loyalist's Kente Building Gymnasium and can be viewed on the live stream at https://ocaa.live/ with the winner advancing to the OCAA quarterfinals next weekend.
