Bio

Kennedy is a Windsor native and joins the St. Clair Women’s Basketball Coaching staff in August of 2025 having enjoyed a stellar five-year playing career for the Saints from 2013-18. 

As a player for St. Clair, she helped her teams to five OCAA Championship tournaments and was a part of the 2013-14 Provincial Bronze squad.  Kennedy was named a West Division All-Star in each year including four First-Team selections which led to the 2013-14 OCAA Rookie of the Year Award and a CCAA All-Canadian selection in 2014-15.

St. Clair recognized her as the team Rookie of the Year in 2013-14 as well as a 3-time MVP in addition to winning the 2014-15 Al Hoffman Athlete of the Year for Outstanding Achievement and the 2017-18 Mason MacDonald Athlete of the Year in her graduating year. 

Kennedy achieved several other individual accolades while in a St. Clair uniform such as being the career leader in games played (158), total rebounds (1,146) and points scored with 2,336 while sporting a 14.8 PPG average.  She also holds the St. Clair record for 3-point makes in a career (347), season (96) and a single game (7).  Kennedy became the OCAA All-time leading scorer and finished with 1,401 points (15.7 PPG) in 89 regular season games. 

Over her time on the St. Clair College campus, Kennedy graduated from three programs including Early Childhood Education, Educational Support and Autism and Behavioural Science Program where was named and OCAA All-Academic and CCAA Academic All-Canadian performer on two occasions. 

Her accomplishments were recognized by the community having and was twice honoured at the 2017 WESPY’s with the Basketball Award and the Mickey Renaud Captain’s Award. 

Kennedy has been busy in the club system first helping as a Basketball Ontario Talent Identification Program Coach and as the Windsor Valiants U13 & U14 Head Coach from 2018-20 while also serving as the Riverside Falcons U10 Small Ball Program Director and Coach. In 2021-22 she was the Windsor St. Clair JUEL team Assistant Coach before elevating to Head Coach in 2022 and pushed that squad to a Provincial Bronze Medal in her first season at the helm.  Kennedy currently maintains that role and was named the 2024-25 JUEL Coach of the Year in recognition of her efforts.

Kennedy has advanced her portfolio to the level of an NCCP Level II Certified Coach and works professionally as an Educational Assistant for the Greater Essex County District School Board.
