Women's Volleyball Move to 7-0

(WINDSOR, ON) The St. Clair College women's volleyball team continued their OCAA home schedule on Sunday afternoon by defeating the Niagara Knights 3-1. Set scores for St. Clair were 25-20, 25-23 ,21-25 and 25-22.

Third year middle Geneva Huisman (Amherstburg; Maranatha Christian Academy) led the way offensively for the Saints with 15 kills, 2 service aces, 4 stuff blocks and 5 digs. Third year outside hitter Haleigh Kearns (Prince George, BC; DP Todd Secondary) also had a solid game with 12 kills, 1 stuff block and 15 digs.

The Saints improved to 7-0 on the season while Niagara dropped to 5-3. The Saints are currently ranked 2nd in Ontario and 11th in Canada.

St. Clair is next in action on Friday, November 22 at 6 pm when they travel to Hamilton to take on the Mohawk Mountaineers.
