Women's Volleyball Lose Battle For First Place

(Windsor, ON)- The St. Clair women's volleyball team continued their OCAA regular season schedule on Saturday afternoon at the Sportsplex in a battle of two undefeated teams.  Unfortunately the Saints came out on the losing end falling 3-0 to the top ranked Humber Hawks (Etobicoke).

Set scores for Humber were 25-22, 25-17, and 25-19.

Haleigh Kearns (Prince George, BC / DP Todd Secondary) led the way for the Saints with 12 kills, 1 service ace and 4 digs.

With the loss St. Clair dropped to 9-1 on the season while Humber improved to 11-0. The Saints are ranked 2nd in Ontario and 11th in Canada while Humber is ranked in 1st in Ontario and 4th in Canada.

The Saints are next in action on Sunday, December 1st when they host the Sheridan Bruins at 1 pm at the Sportsplex to wrap up their first semester schedule.
