Men’s Baseball Host Fanshawe Thursday

Tecumseh, ON – The St. Clair College Men's Baseball team will look to keep their win streak alive when they host Fanshawe College (London) Thursday night at Lacasse Park in Tecumseh.  The Saints sport a 10-0 record atop the OCAA standings while Fanshawe will be upset minded with a 2-6 record looking to break into one of the top 6 playoff spots.  However, the Falcons have a win against 2nd Place Humber on their resume and may keep the 401-rivalry alive.

The Saints currently own the two most dominant right-hand pitchers in the OCAA as 2nd Year hurler Brady Knelsen (Leamington, ON/Leamington) and 4th Year chucker Brock Whitson (Chatham, ON/Ursuline) both have a 3-0 record to go with sub 0.50 earned run averages.

St. Clair 3rd Year transfer outfielder Andrew Sleiman (Leamington, ON/Cardinal Carter) is second in provincial batting hitting .632 while adding 6 RBI.  4th Year catcher Henry Real (Panama City, Panama) is creeping up on the OCAA All-time hit chart and sits in the fourth spot at 83 while hitting .417 this season and leads the Saints with 12 RBI (OCAA 5th).

First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 5:00pm on Thursday with game two following at approximately 7:30pm.
